We want you to love your Søvn purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re happy to help.

 

Returns


Return Window: You have 21 days from the delivery date to initiate a return.

Condition: Items must be unused, clean, and in their original packaging.

How to Start a Return:

Email us at g@sovnlab.com with your order details.

Once approved, ship the item back using your preferred carrier.

Provide the tracking number to ensure we receive your return.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the return.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Warranty


We stand by the quality of our products. If you receive a defective or damaged item, contact us at g@sovnlab.com within 30 days of delivery, and we’ll provide a replacement or refund.

 

M1 Smart Mattress Limited Warranty Terms

1. Limited Warranty: 5-Year Motor & Mechanical Guarantee

Sovn Lab warrants to the original purchaser that the internal motor, frame, and mechanical components responsible for the adjustable support functions of the M1 Mattress will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

1.1 What This Warranty Covers:

  • Failure of the integrated adjustment motor(s) to operate under normal use.

  • Mechanical failures in the frame, hinges, or actuators that prevent the mattress from achieving its advertised positions.

  • Defects in the wiring, control unit, or hand controller that render the adjustment system inoperable.

1.2 What This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Comfort preference related to foam feel or firmness.

  • Minor changes in foam comfort or surface impressions that do not affect the structural integrity or adjustable function.

  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling (including spills, liquid damage to electronics, use of an improper power supply, or physical impact).

  • Damage from use on an improper or non-supportive foundation (see Section 4).

  • Mattresses sold by unauthorized resellers or "as-is" sales.

  • Normal wear and tear on non-mechanical components (upholstery layers, fabric cover).

1.3 Warranty Remedy:
If a defect covered by this warranty is confirmed, Sovn Lab will, at its sole option, either:

  • Repair the defective component(s), which may include providing replacement parts or an external control unit; or

  • Replace the affected mechanical module or the entire Mattress with a new or refurbished model of equal or greater value; or

  • For mechanical defects within the 5-year period, refund the original purchase price on a non-prorated basis.

2. How to Make a Warranty or Return Claim

For warranty claims, you will be asked to provide:

  1. Your original proof of purchase (order number/receipt).

  2. A clear description and, if possible, a video of the malfunction (e.g., motor not responding, unusual noise, failure to adjust).

  3. Details about your setup, including the outlet used and foundation type.

3. Proper Use & Foundation Requirement

To keep your warranty and trial valid, the M1 Smart Mattress must be used:

  • On a solid, flat, and stable surface compatible with adjustable bases (e.g., a fixed platform, floor, or bed frame designed for adjustables).

  • With the included or specified power adapter plugged directly into a properly grounded wall outlet.

  • It is not supported on a traditional box spring, a slatted base with flexible slats, or any foundation that restricts movement or ventilation of mechanical parts.

5. Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and extends only to the original purchaser who bought the product from Sovn Lab or an authorized retailer.

6. Limitations & State Law

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. SOVN LAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
